The Pomeranian is a curious, playful, selfconfident and attentive. It is usually reserve towards strangers and some can be aggressive towards other dogs. Will make a good house dog specially if space is limited.
    Grooming Requirements
They should be brushed frequently paying attention to the undercoat. Make sure the teeth is cleaned regularly by a professional. They do tend to shedd heavily so it is important to brush daily. Professional grooming every 4-6 mos might be necessary to maintain skin health.
    Breed History
Developed in the prussian region of Pomerania (Germany). These breed attracted the attention of Queen Victoria around the 1885. In 1890 their popularity skyrocketed when Queen Victoria exhibited the dog in a show. Originally they were a lot bigger dogs as much as 30lbs. They were bred down at the behest of the queens preferance for the smaller variety. In the early 1900s they were used in circuses and roadshows thus cementing their overall popularity.
