Bulldogs is an intelligent and laid-back dog.
Bold, determined, brave and fearless. Powerful jaws. Does not want a lot of exercise although daily walks should be given.
Grooming Requirements
Bulldogs are easy to maintain
Brush coat daily give a bath every 4 weeks or longer
Brush teeth regularly since they are prone to dental calculus. Wipe under folds on face with damp cloth daily.
Breed History
Bulldogs were used for bull baiting and tended to be a longer breed then those seen today.
After bull baiting was banned in 1835 it was briefly used for dog fighting but was inferior to its cousin the bull terrier.
Today it has evolved into a placid phlegmatic dog with a comical appearance.
