Brush teeth regularly since they are prone to dental calculus. Wipe under folds on face with damp cloth daily.
Bulldogs were used for bull baiting and tended to be a longer breed then those seen today.
After bull baiting was banned in 1835 it was briefly used for dog fighting but was inferior to its cousin the bull terrier.
Today it has evolved into a placid phlegmatic dog with a comical appearance.
