Temperament /Training Tips
Beagles have proved to be highly adaptable and resilient by nature. Packs have been used to hunt a wide variety of game, accompanied in horseback or by foot. They require daily exercise if kept as pets. Persistent training is required. If not properly trained and given enough exercise it can developed seperation anxiety, destructive behavior, obsessive barking.
Grooming Requirements
Requires very lttle grooming. Once a week brushing should suffice. Bath evry couple of months.
Breed History
The exact origin of the beagle is cloudy at best, although it has been around for 500 years. They were widely developed in Britain. Unfortunately, because of their size and temperament they are often used for experimentation.
